I'm
starting a new collaboration with Ben Sasseville, a singer songwriter
from Montreal. His songs are naïve, funny and engaged. If
you like Georges Brassens humour, you will recognize his influence
on Ben Sasseville. Come see us the 2nd of June at the Piano-bar
le Spectateur. Or go
see his website: www.bensasseville.com
or even listen to some of his music: Ben
Sasseville on myspace.
Do
you know Kevin Armstrong with
whom I've done a lot of music? If you don't, you should because
I admired a lot his work! Check out these links. Kevin has produced
Stress video and Entre elle
et moi as well. He is presently living and performing
opera in Europe. www.kevinarmstrong.de
You
can also go visit his old website because once you adopt Kevin,
you don't have enough of his creations! www.geocities.com/kevztunz/
Since
a few years, I have the privilege to be accompanied by Martin
Maheux on drums. His web site is listed here. Martin has release
in March a new recording: Sibylle. It's a juxtaposition of a string
quartet with a jazz quartet (drum, trumpet, piano and doublebass).
Lately, Martin performed at Festival Vue sur la Relève
and was acclaim by the critics. His string quartet will be performing
this summer at Theatre La Marjolaine and he will also be perfoming
in France with his band: Spaced Out.www.mmcircle.com
If
you have a chance, go and see Doctor Keir on stage. He writes
and performs wonderful one-man shows. To top it all off, he his
my friend! Visit his web site to know when and where he will be
performing next! This summer, Keir will be touring accross Canada
with his new play: As You Like It! www.keircutler.com
